HR-AI Fusion ("we," "our," or "us") is a Canadian HR consulting practice operated by Emma Elley, CHRL. We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our website, interact with our tools, and engage with our services.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to all interactions with hraifusion.ca and our service tools, including the Mara chat assistant and the HR-AI Readiness Snapshot™ assessment.

2. What Information We Collect
Website Visitors
When you visit hraifusion.ca, we may collect:
- Pages visited and time spent on site
- Referring URL and browser/device type
- General geographic location (country or region level)
This information is collected through standard web analytics and does not identify you personally.
Mara Chat Assistant
Our website includes Mara, an AI-powered chat assistant. When you interact with Mara, we may collect:
- The content of your messages
- The page you were visiting when the conversation took place
- Timestamp of the conversation
Conversations are logged for the purpose of improving our services and following up on potential inquiries. Mara is powered by the Anthropic API. Your conversation content is processed by Anthropic in accordance with their privacy policy (anthropic.com/privacy).
HR-AI Readiness Snapshot™
When you complete the HR-AI Readiness Snapshot™ assessment, we collect:
- Your name and business email address
- Your organisation's name and size
- Your responses to assessment questions about HR practices and AI readiness
This information is used to generate your assessment results and, with your consent, to follow up with relevant recommendations.
Contact Forms and Inquiries
If you contact us directly via email or a contact form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- The content of your message
- Any information you choose to share about your organisation or situation
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and deliver requested services
- Generate and deliver your HR-AI Readiness Snapshot™ results
- Follow up on potential consulting engagements
- Improve the quality and relevance of our website and tools
- Understand how our services are being used
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use a limited number of trusted third-party tools to operate our services. Each provider processes data only as necessary to deliver their function.

- Make (Integromat) — Workflow automation (make.com/en/privacy-notice)
- Google (Workspace/Sheets) — Conversation logging and data storage (policies.google.com/privacy)
- GitHub — Website code repository (docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
- Mara conversation logs: Retained for up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymised
- Snapshot assessment responses: Retained for the duration of a client relationship plus one year
- General inquiries: Retained for 12 months unless a consulting relationship is established
- Website analytics: Aggregated and anonymised; no fixed deletion window
You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 7).
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. These include access controls, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), and limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected individuals promptly in the event of a breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, as required under PIPEDA.
7. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information (subject to legal or contractual limitations)
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to retention obligations
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca)

8. Consent
By using our website or submitting information through our tools, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy.
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
9. Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for basic analytics and site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect some functionality of the site.

Our services are intended for business use and are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
